What specific skills do you bring to your Pilates instruction?

I bring a unique blend of creativity, empathy, and energy to every class. My background in dance has honed my ability to choreograph movement, while my hands-on experience in various Pilates settings—including pre and postnatal workshops and courses on injury modifications—enables me to tailor sessions to each client’s individual needs.

What inspires your passion for Pilates?

I have been participating in 3 Pilates classes weekly for over a year and a half because I love it so much. The transformative power of Pilates—both mentally and physically—fuels my passion, and I’m driven by the desire to help everyone feel happy and excited to exercise.

Can you share a bit about your educational background and experience?

I hold a Pilates Reformer qualification, pre and postnatal certificate,  along with a certificate focused on injuries and modifications. I’ve enriched my experience participating through so many classes (even in Bali!) and I’m currently aiming to pursue a diploma in Pilates to further educate myself and better help others.

What inspired you to pursue a career in Pilates instruction?

Witnessing firsthand the transformative benefits of Pilates, combined with my lifelong exposure to fitness through my mum, inspired me to pursue this career. I want everyone to feel happy, comfortable and excited to exercise, and I believe that sharing the joy of movement can truly enhance one’s quality of life.

What do you believe is the most rewarding aspect of your teaching style?

The most rewarding aspect of teaching Pilates is seeing the positive mental and physical transformations in my clients. I strive to create a fun and welcoming environment that blends modern techniques with classic Pilates principles, ultimately boosting confidence and overall well-being. I know how scary it is to start something new so being able to ease one’s transitions and make them feel comfortable is one of my favourite things.
